New files concerning Jeffrey Epstein’s varied activities are being released continuously. And the most striking thing is, of course, the paedophile allegations, which affect and disgust us, but if we disregard them for a moment, as they cast a fog over everything else. Let us try to understand the information in the Epstein files on a slightly higher level. It could be summarised as follows:
- Epstein works in finance, but is essentially a networker. He introduces people to each other, introduces people to the circle. A kind of party organiser for the elite.
- Many in the elite know each other, regardless of party affiliation, they socialise with each other, they go to the same parties and events.
- They consider themselves above the people, speak freely and send compromising emails on open servers. They see themselves as untouchable.
- They undergo rituals, like Freemasons or student associations, to build trust between each other. They break laws, norms and taboos. They are all in the same boat; no one can tell on anyone else because they have all undergone the rituals.
The question is whether the elite we see, politicians and civil servants, are the real elite or merely compromised actors playing their roles and controlled by a real elite? Epstein has received fees from and claimed to represent a powerful banking family. So he too is a kind of ‘fixer’ who does favours for those in power behind the scenes.
The democratic system is easy to corrupt, as people in governments and parliaments are open to gifts, fees and sometimes bribes. And they can also be blackmailed and threatened. Leaders in a more authoritarian society are not as easy to influence, as they already hold true power and money, without advocating dictatorship, mostly as an educational comparison. Our system is very vulnerable, especially when there is no longer any civil service accountability, internal investigations or the possibility of prosecuting those in power. The possibility may exist on paper, but it is rarely applied.
Politicians can therefore behave almost however they want, make extravagant statements and enact laws that have nothing to do with election promises or the will of the people. Most of today’s legislation no longer comes from the grassroots but from above. And it doesn’t matter which party we vote for, policies such as high taxes, overregulation, mass migration, etc. continue regardless of who is in power.
The political squabbling that our parties engage in, as well as our own controversies and disagreements, seem laughable to the puppet masters in this frightening game. And now they have revealed themselves; of course, it is difficult to keep such things secret when people have free access to the internet. And it seems that much of this activity was built up before the era of digitalisation. In addition, the publication of the Epstein files is a highly deliberate act, perhaps carried out by a competing elite.
Are we witnessing the death throes of a perverse dying empire? The question is, which empire? A significant proportion of those involved have links to the United Kingdom, both so-called fixers and financiers. Even if the activities are not located there entirely, British tax havens in the Caribbean are used for money transactions, the notorious island is also nearby, and a portion of the British elite has been named, as well as the aforementioned banking family, which has its roots there. We also see connections to Israel on many different levels (which I have omitted from this article), and even the creation of that country was planned and carried out by the same British interests. There are a striking number of paths leading to London in this mess.
